We understand that users, especially those paying by a PO want to have a better understanding of charges for work that involves a custom methods development.  To help our users estimate the cost, we have put together the following guidelines depending on if multiple methods are developed and required due to fundamental differences in the structure and properties of the target compounds or if a single method can be used. The hourly rates for different organizations is listed on our main rates page.

For single LC-MS or GC-MS methods (if it works for all your target compounds):

1 – 3 compounds = <8 hours

4 - 6 compounds = <16 hours

7+ compounds = <24 hours

For multiple LC-MS and GC-MS methods (when multiple methods are necessary):

1 – 3 compounds = <16 hours

4 - 6 compounds = <24 hours

7+ compounds = <32 hours
